A note to CA-26 voters about Prop 50 and redistricting

I am running to serve the people of California’s 26th Congressional District. Prop 50 has introduced boundary changes, and there are active legal challenges. Until the courts finish their work, I am speaking to both the pre-Prop 50 and post-Prop 50 versions of CA-26 so every constituent in our shared community is heard.

Before Prop 50, CA-26 included key Ventura County cities and communities such as Oxnard, Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, Moorpark, Santa Paula, Fillmore, Port Hueneme, parts of Ventura and Simi Valley, Westlake Village, Agoura Hills, Calabasas, and unincorporated areas like Newbury Park, Oak Park, Santa Rosa Valley, El Rio, Casa Conejo, Channel Islands Beach, and Piru. After Prop 50, adjustments affect which portions of these places are inside the district. Final lines will be clarified when the legal process concludes.

My message is the same across the district. I will listen first, focus on results, and work on issues that matter to families and small businesses in Ventura County. That includes pocketbook pressures like water rates, fire readiness and insurance stability, safer streets, less red tape for local employers, and better pathways for veterans and working families.

If you live in Oxnard, Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, Moorpark, Santa Paula, Fillmore, Port Hueneme, Ventura, Simi Valley, Westlake Village, Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Newbury Park, Oak Park, Santa Rosa Valley, or nearby communities, I want to hear from you. Tell me your top concern for your city, and I will report back with concrete steps and measurable goals for CA-26.
